About DEI Week
DEI Week 2024 will be a week-long celebration of the diverse culture at Miami University. Throughout the week, students, organizations, and other multicultural groups across campus can interact with the various identities of Miami.
DEI Week was created because the committee felt the need to initiate a week of advocacy and celebration of multicultural student groups on Miami's campus and is intended to be a week of celebration and expressivity.
DEI Week Color Palete
When selecting our color palette, we discussed what we wanted DEI Week to represent for students on campus. There are many cultures on Miami’s campus and the planning committee believes those cultures need to be highlighted and enjoyed. We hope that DEI Week will provide an avenue to celebrate the plethora of cultures and diverse identities that comprise the Miami community. We also hope for DEI Week to be a week of comfort, community, joy, acceptance and friendship on campus.
